Materials used to make the model:
Boxed Items:
- Skywave/PitRoad John C. Butler Class DE box;
- L'Arsenal Quad 40mm Bofors resin set (mine was missing the PE parts);
- Niko Models Double 40mm Bofors resin set;
- Tom's Modelworks DE Pe set;
- Midship Models Armament sprue (for directors and ships boat);
- Tauro Models paper flags (Romeo callsign flag - showing the ship is on a S.A.R. mission);
- Various bits and pieces from the spare box (Radar screens);
- Rigging is Caennis Line (courtesy of David Griffith).

Scatchbuilt Items:
- Mast with brass and Evergreen;
- Gun Tubs and Director Tubs with Evergreen/Plastic;
- Quad parabolic radar screen and support;
- Seascape is Das Pronto Modeling paste with my usual method;
- Homemade decals and National Flag;
- Light grey paint is the Portuguese Navy real thing, slightly lighten and heavily thinned - it looks much more to the real thing than with my NRP Alvares Cabral.

I like the feel of movement mixed with urgency, a very active looking realisation combined with top modelling skills makes this a fine display composition. Cheers, Rui, Peter F

Oooooo! I LIKE IT!! The wake on this water base is a terrific example to learn by, attempt to copy, and admire! I'm admiring the tiny splashes of foam, here and there, Rui. The model, itself, would stand out in a crowd, anywhere!
