HMS Iron Duke...
HMS Iron Duke is a Type 23 frigate currently serving in the Royal Navy. The ship was commissioned in 1991 and has since under gone upgrades to her weapons suite. During her time in service she has taken part in several different operations for the Royal Navy.

In 2008 she took part in during interdiction in the Caribbean. Also during this time Prince William was a member of the ships company. The Duke was successful in siezing a drug haul of over £1/4 Billion.

The kit is a WEM 1/350th resin kit,no upgrading was done apart from adding the ships badge on the stack and using Resin Shipyard modern RN decals. The build represents the ship as she appeared in 2008.

Thanks everybody, praise from modellers of your calibre,is praise indeed. If I did build one for HRH Prince William,I would have to put the Royal coat of Arms on all my models, like firms who supply the Royal household!! Cheerio Phil
