The Russian cruiser Aurora as she appeared heading out to sea during the Russo-Japanese War.

Like many other modelers, me included, Louis states this is one of his favorite ships and models.

Hallo Ruis... Thanks for your kind comments about my model....this model comes from a maquette kit....bought it from a car boot sale along with the Poteimkin:):)....I t's 1/350 scale and it's only 12 inches long....had a lot of work to do in it, but it was worth it....It's a very famous ship and it still lies in St Petersburg in Russia....been on it...and it's really raw and nice. It has a lot of history. it fired the first volley from the foreastle gun announcing the Russian Revolution in the early 20 th century... Best regards
