This model of the King George V is a Tamiya 1/350 scale kit. It was built straight from the box. Being one of my earliest kits detail was added using plastic bits and bobs and piping from the spares box. The only photoetch used was the railings which I got from a friend of mine.

The vessel was finished in enamels and shadowed and weathered in oils. No figurines can be seen on this model….didn’t know they existed at that time JJ I was quite new when I made this build. It’s still one of my favorite models. This ship has character.
