"MSW Crew-mate Veniamin Litvin (Litvin70), sends in his first submission to us, his fine build of Russian battleship Knyaz Potemkin Tavrichesky, in this "On Display" feature!"

This is my 1/400 scale model of Russian navy battleship "Knyaz Potemkin Tavrichesky" 1905. The manufacturer of the kit is ARK Models.

I also used the following enhancements, PE: Part, ACE, WEM, Fly Hawk and my friend AskOld(Gennadiy) .
Brass barrels - RB models
Сrew, chains - L'arsenal
Paints: Zvezda, Tamiya, Microsсale.

It is my second try to build "Potemkin". First try was in 1984.

Wonderful build. I love the looks of those old ships. They have a personality to them. Thanks for sharing her with us.

Check out the cast metal finish evident on the black portion of the hull, superstructure and guns--a very nice touch. Is the basic kit from the Heller molds? --Karl
