"MSW crew-mate Martin J. Quinn (MartinJQuinn) shares his build of Japanese Light Cruiser Isuzu, in this "On Display" feature!"

1/700 Isuzu (Tamiya)
Relatively simple build of the older Tamiya kit. I used Tom's Modelworks photo-etch railings, crane, ladders, Type 21 radar and searchlight tower (which is a part for a Japanese heavy cruiser cut down to fit); PitRoad triple and single 25mm AA guns.

The masts are brass rod. The canvas around the searchlight platform is white glue. The model is painted with White Ensign's Yokosuka Grey paint. Rigging is a combination of Caenis line and Dai-Riki line.
