HMS Exeter...

I've enclose photos of my latest build, the Skywave/Pit Road 1/700 HMS Exeter, D-89 that I did as part of a group build. I used the WEM Type 42 PE detail set to enhance the kit, and it is well done and adds a lot to the finished product. I used Floquil paints and stretched sprue rigging along with the very nice Hawk/Resin Shipyard decals. This is the first post WW II ship that I've ever done. It was neat departure from my usual pre-dreadnought era through WW II builds, but I think I prefer them to the more modern ships.
