Iron Shipwrights resin kit 1/350 Sub Chaser (or Patrol Craft) PC-461 Class

Additions :
- WEM railings (curved)
- replaced 40 mm gun and gun tub
- scratched 3"50 gun
- replaced bridge side platforms
- added armour belt, masts
- nearly all small fittings provided in the kit were replaced due to poor mould and/or air bubbles
- various PE details (GMM, WEM, Eduard) from the spare box
- rigging : fishing line

Base...

The heavy sea water base was made using a block of styrofoam (insulation material), textured watercolour paper and hand brushed acrylic paints. The final touch with tissue paper and gloss varnish.

Hey Werner.This is a real nice build. Your weathering seems to give it that been around the block look. Great job on the water. The size of the waves/troughs, give the impression of just how big and lonely the ocean is. Do you have any plans for a few figures, would bring this to life even more.
