HMS Dreadnaught…

HMS Dreadnought. My build of the Zvezda 1/350 kit. The kit went together well except for the bridge support structures which proved difficult to get right. The ship is hand painted with Humbrol and Tamiya enamels and is rigged with 14.0 ( extremely fine) fly tying line. The masts are all replaced with Brass rod. The only crew I elected to add to this model are the two ships cats ,seen by the double doors which I chose to open up. I added wooden decks and used the excellent WEM photoetch set. There are many hours of work in this model as the kit requires considerable extra detailing to get a reasonably accurate portrayal of this wonderful ship.
