Whilst in London I made the trip out to Greenwich specifically to see this model at the National Maritime Museum. Again, I’m not sure if it’s a copyright infringement, but I sure hope it isn’t as it’s really inspiring for us modelers. It’s the builder’s model of the King George V class battleship. It is truly a stunning model, and at 1/96 scale it’s nearly 5 metres long! The details are superb and if anyone’s heading to London it’s well worth the trip out to see her!

I'm not sure how I got 1/96 scale in my head, but the model's actually 1/48. A whopping 4.7metres long! Well worth the visit!
