USS Kearsarge...

Subject: USS Kearsarge
MFG: Hobby Boss
Scale: 1/700
Medium: Plastic/PE

This is an absolutely beautiful offering from Hobby Boss which includes a basic Photo Etch enhancement package as well as clear plastic aircraft allowing for clear cockpit glass on the finish model. I also used the aftermarket brass set for the USS Tarawa for much of the other railings etc. this ship has so much railing, I actually went through two and half sets of the brass railings to go around all the parts of the ship where necessary. The kit included a detailed decal set and a full color paint and decal placement guide. Molding was crisp and quite detailed. Very little clean up was necessary and all the parts fit well. Which, of course, is all we ever ask in kits right?
