By now most of you have become familiar with Kostas' remarkable 1/700 dioramas, which usually have a heavy emphasis on the open seas. While he has created some dioramas featuring some landmass, we have been treated to something really remarkable with this very lively piece of Japanese coastline depicting the IJN Hiei in her prime.

Very beautiful, with great balance between the ships and the landmass and castle. You are the Rembrandt of modeling (or maybe he was the Kostas of oil paints).

I'm with you, Fred: the diorama is a work of art in itself. Is is all scratch-built? Amazing!
