HMS Warspite

  • move
Colin Swager shares with us some images of the HMS Warspite. The model used is the Academy 1/350th scale offering; Colin used the premium edition of the model because the kit includes wooden deck overlay ( the adhesive and fit of this deck is not so flash), brass gun barrels for main and secondary armament, all spars booms etc and full and comprehensive photo etch. This is an excellent kit which goes together well but I did find the instructions a little sparse particularly with the photo etch. The model has been airbrushed using Tamiya acrylics and Humbrol enamels.

Ahoy Colin Great to check out in real live a great airbrush job. The photos don't do this model justice. Superb work. I believe we have the emergence of a master shipbuilder. Cheers Sean PS Dying to see what you can do with the 1/72 S-100 you now have in your possession!
