Revell Type S-100 S-boot

Michael scratch-built the ladders, handles, tarps, life vests and canvass for rails. The PE is from Eduard and White Ensign Models. Decals are from Peddinghaus and the figures are modified CMK ones. Tamiya and Model Master paints were used along with oil filters.

Thanks for sending these to us, Mike!

Superb. The crew are the U-boat crew?

Yes, CMK U-boat figures. Now I wish I could find/make some mines for the stern rack. I bought some from CMK (I think) but they are too large. MW

Construction is very nice. But, I must offer a constructive criticism - there should be no rust on the hull. The hull was made of wood. The kulotte (armed bridge cupola) was aluminum with steel plates.

Very attractive model! Can you tell us how you made this very realistic water?
