Battleship Bismarck

  • move
A few years back, James built Revell’s 1/350th scale Bismarck. This was Jame’s first attempt at building in this scale; after tackling his fears of using aftermarket photo etch, James jumped in and never looked back. James mentioned really enjoying the build; even the photo etch despite the challenges it projects. Additionally, he crafted some blast bags for each of the main guns from Milliput for a bit more detail. When finished painting the decking, he used another new technique he learned, applying an ink wash in the form of Citadel…Sepia if he remembers correctly. Overall, James is really proud of this build and a small part of him would enjoy building this model again knowing he has learned more techniques over the past few years.
