Kostas Katseas shares with us his latest diorama with his USS Independence. Kostas used Dragon's 1/350 USS Independence kit as the base for this watery scene. He added L'arsenal and North Star figures to add some life to the ship. The tractors and trolleys are 3D printed and he used the WEM photo etch set to enhance the finer details.

What an imaginative rendering of a fine kit! Aircraft carriers are excellent diorama subjects because of the opportunities to depict interesting things on the flight deck. The crash and salvage scene amidships is one of most innovative miniature depictions I've seen on a ship model in some time. --Karl
