Recently Darren Baker visited the Imperial War Museum in Duxford, Cambridgeshire. While there, he took some shots of the 46 Foot Lifeboat Jesse Lumb. This boat was built for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) and spent just over 30 years in service at Bembridge and another 10 years in the reserves. She was accredited with assisting over 60 vessels and rescuing around 300 people during that time.

During WWII, the Jesse Lumb rescued 40 people from the waters off the Isle of Wight, 3 of which were airmen from downed aircraft.
