Bob Cicconi shares with us his latested creation; the 1/700 HP Models USS Nevada 1945. Bob felt this was a nice kit, but not for beginners, as you must make all the control top and gun director supports and the instructions leave a lot to be desired. Depspite a few corrections, the ship builds up quite nicely. He also used Tom's Model Works and Gold Medal Models photot etch detail sets for the various radars, crane, and catapult, and railings supplied from Gold Medal Models. Lifecolor paints was used and Bob used stretched sprue to complete the rigging.

Model Shipwrights would like to thank Bob Cicconi for providing these final shots of his USS Nevada - 1945

Bob, a beautiful model! Is that Measure 31a camouflage? Those quad-40's look like models unto themselves. Incredible work!

Thanks! It is 31a. The quads are the Nano-dread units and the 20mm guns are Gold Medal PE units.
