Robert Wilson was kind enough to share one of his scratch-built creations with us here on the Model Shipwrights.
The Lord Ripon
The Lord Ripon was a four-masted steel barque launched in 1892 out of Liverpool. Six short years after launching, she was sold and the name changed (Nal). During WWI she was interned in Chile until 1920 when the ship was returned to France. In January of 1922 she sprung a leak and was abandoned off Cape Horn and she sunk.

Robert Wilson used scale drawings as a guide to the basic shape and general layout, then carving his Lord Ripon from wood supported with brass fitting and masts with printed sails.
