Germany's Last U-Boat

Tom Wilson shares photos of his finished "Germany's Last U-Boat" using Bronco's 1/35 Type XXIII Coastal U-Boat The U-2336 was a Type XXIII U-Boot that was notorious for having sunk the last allied ships sunk in the Second Wold War by a German submarine. Tom built this boat from the Bronco 1/35 scale kit without any aftermarket components. To depict this particular submarine, he heavily modified the fairwater by filling in some vent holes and created a second row at the aft end. I also modified the forward deck. Model Shipwrights would like to than Tom Wilson for providing this photo feature of his "Germany's Last U-Boat" build!

Wonder how he did his "tin-canning"? Heating and squishing?
