1350
USS Indianapolis

The USS Indianapolis sets sail again! Chris Flodberg shares his latest creation with his 1/350 scale rendition of the USS Indianapolis. Chris has used Academy's USS Indianapolis CA 35 kit to create a seagoing diorama of this iconic ship.

In addition to the base kit, Chris used Pontos' Detail Up Set along with accessories from Eduard, North Star and Tamiya accessories. Chris tells us "this project took way longer than expected because I ended up making three separate seas until I found the right look." Well it looks as if the perseverance paid off nicely!

Model Shipwrights would like to thank Chris Flodberg for providing this pictorial feature of his USS Indianapolis

Chris is master of the solid waves! We need to ask if we can publish his water technique here. I've seen it described in other forums.
