Eike Bublitz shares with us his rendition of the USS Arizona BB-39 from Trumpeter in 1/200 Scale. Eike has added details using Eduard's Big Ed photo etch set. The model took him about eight months to complete. Eike's thoughts behind the build was to show a weathered version of the Arizona upon returning from a North Pacific cruise. Although peacetime ships were kept in tiptop condition, the sea is not so forgiving and will take its toll on any vessel.
