1⁄1Godspeed and Discovery at Jamestown
Godspeed and Discovery are replicas of two of the three vessels that brought settlers to Jamestown Colony, the first permanent European settlement in America. They are kept seaworthy by the U.S. National Parks Service. The third ship, Susan Constant , was away being re-certified by the U.S. Coast Guard.
I manipulated some photos to remove shadow to reveal detail, retaining the original in this feature for contrast.
