Kostas Katseas sails into another ocean diorama...except with this one, there is a little twist with this one....a conjoined diorama featuring the USS Enterprise and the USS North Carolina in 1/350th.

Recently Kostas submitted a fantastic rendition of Trumpeter's USS North Carolina to Model Shipwrights. With some forethought, he had created two separate dioramas that actually connect to create a much larger one. The second ship in this sea-going scene is Merit's 1/350 scale USS Enterprise.

Kostas added some extras to this scene to help bring out the details. 20mm from 3DModelparts, extra photo etch provided by GMM and Eduard , from North Star some 3d printed figures, Flyhawk canopies , torpedoes and bombs for the planes.

Beautiful work. I love the extra work you put into this diorama. Your skill level is something I hope to obtain someday in my work. Thanks for taking the time to photograph and share this with us. I do have a question though, what is the box on right corner used for on this project?
