North Sea Traveler

  • move
Nikos Kosmadakis floats a Ross Jackal North Sea Trawler across his bench and creates a fantastic seascape diorama. Using the old North Sea Trawler kit from Revell in 1/142 scale, Nikos adds a pile of scratch built parts to spruce this kit up nicely.

Nikos, This is an excellent build. Stunning work on the ship and the water base is outstanding. I like the interaction between the sailor and the dolphins as well. Great composition of the whole scene. John

Phantastic work, Nikos. Weathering of the ship and all the water effects are just incredibly well done. Love the dolphins too. cheers Walter

Thank you every one! I really appreciate your comments. Glad to see no one mentioned that the dolphins are missing a couple of fins!

Wonderful work! Love your water and the dynamic look to the model. Did you rework the hull to look like the plates have been hammered by the waves??

You showed that from the old kit you can create a work of art!

Thanks guys! JPTRR yes i used a rotary tool to make the plates. Didn't come out very well but they're ok. The dolphins are missing a couple of fins but we don't talk about that...
