Well Foks: Here's my entry for the SOTQ #1, the monitor USS Wyoming circa 1903. I got it done a lot faster than I though I would, but actually it's not a very complex subject. I highly recommend the kit, which is made by Mike Bartel of Imperial Hobby Productions.

I thought I did put the photos in the completed gallery. Check to see if I screwed that up, also! Thanks!

Thanks, Guv! I still need a road map or GPS to get around this site!

Bob,
Great looking build. I was having trouble trying to decide what color your ship was, it may be my eyes but the lighting seemed a bit off. If im off my rocker don't worry it happens often but I thought the lighting could be different.

Wild: The hull is white, and the superstructure, stack, main turret are all buff. The bridge house is painted Floquil Caboose to try and replicate the dark mahogany colored wood of the ctructure. The deck is sand with a black watercolor wash. I am probably the world's worst photographer, or at least in the top 10!

no worries, it must have been the buff color that threw me off.
