Ahoy Crew !
Oh Brother, this will really get the U-Boat fans going ! Although quite a few got very excited about the 1/72 scale Boats, after a while the sheer size of these beasts struck home. But 1/144th is something else ! I have no doubt the Type VII will be a terrific seller. (Although I will probably go for the -214 myself )

Great news, the instruction sheet in the Type VIID kit indicated that a VIIC would surface at some time (excuse the pun). If the 214 goes together as well as the 212 class A I have just build then I would recommend it to you Bruce. The 212 was purchased with the idea of giving me some thing to build out of the box following my hernia operation, some plan that was I opened the box the day before I went into hospital and had the thing ready to paint that afternoon, will post some picture of it when finished, not allowed to lift compressor yet, wife watches me like a hungry hawk (LOL)
