Charles W. Lindberg, one of the U.S. Marines who raised the first American flag over Iwo Jima during World War II, has died. He was 86.

Hey all,
Even though I hate giving kudos to "leathernecks" you gotta give credit where credit is due. The marines that climbed that nasty bit of rock did something fantastic just by doing their job. They didn't want to be heros and they never thought of themselves as heros but to us they were ans always will be.
