Hi Folks,

I'm looking for some good reference for the hand held Aldis Signal Lamp. I have a good reference for the Lamp but not for what it was attatched to when used on land.

Would anyone have a picture of the case type box that the lamp connected to and also any other pics that might be useful relating to using the equipment. I have a fairly decent picture of a chap using one but the distance is too great to see the equipment clearly.

Thanks mate, I have those already, but what I can't find is pics of the power unit the lamp was plugged into when used ashore.

Thanks for taking the time to reply. I've contacted a few RN museums here tio see if they might have anything useful.

Did find a good set of a UK signalling lamp, stand and appropriate box but I don't think it's the one used with the Aldis.
