Ahoy mates.
I'm looking for some detailed photos of the twin .50 cal mount on the swift boat. I'm adding resin .50 to the boat and I'm wanting the proper mount.
~Gator
edit: I believe they used the same kind as the PT boat.

I’d be happy to take a look around.
Is that a twin 50cal-M2 MG for a PCF? Is it the same mount as on the PBR?
Can you think of any other ship with the open turret in a tub that would work for ya?

It may be the same mount that is on the PT boat. All I could find is that it's a scarf ring mount..

Hey Gator, I did not find any thing taken apart or an exploded view / parts break down.
However,
Here are some good assembled/ mounted views from overhead.
Mark 17/Mod 1 manually operated,
twin-scarf-ring mount.
http://www.pcf45.com/index.html
And a kind of dark B/W. Of course a sailor is manning it and in the way.

Second from the bottom, not sure just what it was mounted on and the gun placement is too close, but it is a twin 50 unmounted in.

Ahoy Paul!
The last link you posted is on the money. From the looks of the photo of the sailor firing, it was the same mount used on the PT boats. This is great.
Now, I need some wire and tubing and....

Say Gator,
For some reason the first link defaults to the home page. If you take the “boat tour” from there you will be even happier. ( as the views will show the differences from the twin .50 on NavWeps)
glad I could help.
