The Great White Fleet was now on the Third Leg of its cruise.
The schedule was as outlined below:
1.San Francisco to their first destination Honolulu, Hawaii scheduled to arrive on 16 July 1908 distance to be traveled 2126 miles
2.Depart Honolulu, Hawaii on 22 July 1908 and arrive Auckland, New Zealand on 9 August 1908 distance traveled 3870 miles
3.Depart Auckland, New Zealand on 15 August 1908 and arrive Sydney Australia on 20 August 1908 distance traveled 1307 miles
4.Depart Sydney, Australia on 28 August 1908 and arrive Melbourne Australia on 29 August 1908 distance traveled 601 miles
5.Depart Melbourne, Australia on 5 September 1908 and arrive Albany, Australia on 11 September 1908 distance traveled 1368 miles
6.Depart Albany, Australia on 18 September 1908 and arrive Manilla, Philippine Islands on 2 October 1908 distance traveled 3458 miles
7.Depart Manilla, Philippine Islands on 9 October 1908 and arrive Yokohama, Japan on 18 October 1908 distance traveled 1795 miles
8.Depart Yokohama, Japan on 25 October 1908 and arrive Amoy, China on 29 October 1908 distance traveled 1811 miles
The total to be traveled was 16,336 miles which again for coal powered vessels is a major undertaking.

Thanks for the update on the fleet. The more I read the more I get interested in doing a build on one of these ships.

No problem Frank a pleasure as always.
Watch out I am planning a huge feature as the Fleet approaches my hometown Auckland, New Zealand.
I to have been inspired but I am unsure whats available to build. Do you know of any?

Forgive me if I'm wrong but I thought Ironship wright and steelnavy had some resin kits of the ships that participated.
