Looks like a very nice kit. A 1/350 cruiser in plastic, what's not to like?

I looked at the price, and not the scale. $60 for a 1/700 cruiser? Am I missing something? Can you find out what drugs those guys are on? Seriously Isn't that just a bit high?

Hey Rodge!

60 bux, yeah, it is a bit steep for a 1/700 cruiser...I thought so too, until I saw the overall quality of this kit.
You have to remember that this is just the MSR, too...I've seen them down around 50 bux...

The kit is very comprehensive, with alot of attention to detail, and presentation...additional kit parts, wood base, and a stainless steel PE set (which I bet would retail for around 30 bux by itself), when you break it all down, it's about in line with Hasegawas other special "premium" limited edition kits...I guess it all boils down to how much the modeler wants to pay for a high grade kit, know what I mean?
There is a demand for these (and Hasegawa just released another in this series), so the company is tapping a niche in the market...
