A book with the title "U-boats vs Destroyer Escorts" that shows a FLETCHER class destroyer (NOT a destroyer escort) on the cover does not engender a lot of confidence in anyone who knows the difference between the two types...

While they very well may not know the difference Osprey may be using the term "Destroyer Escort" not as a type description, but rather a function, as in "Destroyers acting as escorts."

I'm a bit more turned off by the cover that looks like a screen shot from a computer game. Still it will be interesting to see the book when it comes out.
