This was one of those models that I have seen at Telford last year that really made the trip worth!

I'm constantly amazed at the detail these guys put into 1/700 scale.
I bought the 1/700 HMS Liverpool, opened the box, groaned and closed it again.
Too small!
I really will have to give it a try some day.

I missed this thread the first time around, but I saw the pictures in the Gallery and was suitably impressed. Really incredible job for such a small scale. I like the fact it's an unusual subject. The dio just looks right.

yep that's it, the dio just looks right, and the pictures too, you are there basically. i just love the small boats near the destroyer too!
