Modelling The GreatWhite Fleet

Frank aka wildspear asked the question about modeling ships of The Great White Fleet.

To be honest I had not earnestly considered this aspect to the discussion.

I quess I had been self absorbed analyzing the journey, ships, and personalities

After Franks prompting this is what I found out on the internet and I thought it was interesting enough to share.

The Iron shipwright series looks very, very interesting:

This is one that was raised I think in the earlier Dreadnought discussion.

I am aware my findings are rather preliminary and there maybe more available at present or in the past.

Has anyone else got any more information/kits/kits suppliers from The Great White Fleet era they may like to add to the discussion?

Regards

Sean,

The only problem I see in these kits is the price. Since they are resin the price is up there a bit.......but if I work on the misses then who knows...

Ahoy Frank

Yes they arent cheap imagine how much more they would cost me here in little ol New Zealand with freight and exchange rates.

But man oh man they look real, real good.

The reviews I have read are all very positive.

Photographs of the finished product look very, very impressive.

Regards
