I am a 70 year-old collector of ship models in Chicago. In Sept. 2006 I sent a model of a German E-boat to Joseph Neumeyer of San Pedro, California (doing business as Dynamic Dioramas) for super-detailing. I also sent $500.00 deposit for the work. Although I had previously been a client of Mr.Neumeyer, we did not have a contract on this deal, and Mr. Neumeyer has elected to keep my model and my money giving me nothing. The ship modeling community is small.
A trial was held in the California Superior Court on March 23, 2007. Judgement was entered for me, Coleman Seskind, against Joseph Neumeyer in the amount of $2,225.00. I would suggest to anyone dealing with Mr. Neumeyer to pay attention to these facts.
Thanks for reading,
Coleman Seskind

Hi Coleman,
Glad to hear you got justice n the end. Sad state of affairs that you were forced to go to court.
Thanks for the info.

You are absolutely right, the modeling world is small. People like this may get away with something, for a while, but in the end it comes back to haunt them. I'm very glad you got your justice.

I can't believe that people think that they can take our small community for a ride. But unfortunately they try to get away with it. Iam glad you got your justice. Thanks!

Mr. Seskind,
With all due respect,
I'm glad you had your day in court however, before I go condemning anyone I am always reminded that there are probably two sides to every story.
It is a small community and I'm happy you decided to join it on July 29, 2007.
Sorry your first and only post here had to be of this nature.
Cheers,
Charles
