Hi fellow shipbuilders!
I have built this boat on comission and just finished it 2 days ago. I'm primarly armour modeller but you know, things happen . It is 100% scratchbuilt from plans and painted using photo as reference to match the actual building stage just before priming as the customer ordered. The scale is 1:30, the model is 60 cm long. Guy that was working on it said it was constructed from pre WWII plans (with slight modifications to the wheelhouse) unfortunately, I don't know more about the subject, but this boat is supposed to carry passengers (tourists?)..
Comments and critique welcome!
Cheers
Greg

Outstanding construction and the weathering is very realistic your customer should be very happy.

Thanks for the kudos mates!
I for one think the weathering could be better if only my compressor didn't die while priming the boat. Because of its insubordination I had to go only with paintbrush and sponge for the effects.
Cheers

Ahoy, mates!
Just a quick shot over your bow's, Greg is going to write a full build feature of this quite interesting "Kuter" that he has built here, in a step-by-step style format (he has sent me the images, and this is a very cool build...), so watch the announcements!
Keep Modeling!
