I mentioned this on the Monday morning sit rep but I wanted to tell others about it.

This is a site that lists all the historic ships on display in the U.S. Better yet if you go to an individual ship it will have a link to Google Maps that gives Lat. and Lon. to the ship, along with a satellite image of the ship.

I love that shot as it give a good aerial view, and because of the angle of the sun a good shadow showing the silhouette of the ship.
Next vacation I'm going traveling to see some of these ships. I may have to do it solo, as I don't know if SWMBO will want to go, but I'm going.
The image of the USS Monitor is interesting. Is show an outline of the ship, but I don't know if it's the real ship, or a simulation, or what.
