Being a graduate of West (By God) Virginia University I receive an alumni magazine.
Features this month is the USS West Virginia, pretty cool stuff.
If anyone is interested let me know. There are 8 photos and a brief story.

The Wee Vee was always one of my favorite ships, along with the Prune Barge, USS CALIFORNIA, and my adopted state USS COLORADO. In case you don't know the Wee Vee and Colorado are both the same class and the California is just about exactlly the same but with four triple 14" gun turrets instead of four twin 16" gun turrets.

Here in Colorado there is a group of RC modelers called The Colorado Crew. One of them has built a 1/72 scale USS COLORADO. The mind boggles. Here is a link showing that model.
