Does anyone have a good reference or know where I could locate plans or enough good information to scratch build a Navy ATC? Are there any kits to use as a starting point? Any information would be helpful.

The idea I had of building a skimmer didn't pan out, not enough information to do it right in my opinion. I am still looking though and have it on the drawing board for the future. But rather then waiting I wanted to see if I could get to work on something else.

Thanks!

Thanks for tht information guys. I want to build it in 1/35th scale. I think that the 1/76th scale might be to small to work from, what do you think?

LCM3 is a good starting point, but how long and at what point is it lengthened?

I guess what I am really looking for is a good set of plans and/or dimensions, similar to what was shown in the PBR thread. Does anything like that exist? Also, something that shows the armorment, specifically the guns mounted in the troop area (i.e. were the infantry would be) would do wonders. I have seen lots of pictures of the weapons, mostley .50 cals, but they don't really show where exactly or how they are mounted. I have been all over and have not found a thing, nothing totally useful anyway. Just bits and pieces.

Thanks again!
