She's such a marvellous grey beast she looks like she will attracts Junkers' n torpedoes the most!
You sem to say that there's a Hudson on the deck but i can't see it! the pictures pixelate quite a bit in places, too bad about that.
can't wait to see the final convoy!

The Hudson (s) seem to come and go. On some of the build shots they are clearly there, in white plastic or something, along the center line between the cranes. On one it seems to be in orange, (resin?), forward of the center superstructure on the port side. In the finished photos I can't tell if they are still there or not. Possibly they are covered with tarpaulins and can't be seen too well.

Either way a great build.

Thanks for the flowers, guys, and yes, the story of the Hudsons is a bit of a saga. I wanted to do something different to Mike McCabe's version, an impossible act to follow so I built the extra gantries, and decided to put on aircraft instead of tanks etc., and the balloon.

I had my mate Geoff Rogers (who also supplied the balloons) build the Hudsons from "Fimo putty " based on pictures off the net, and one picture of them being offloaded from a transporter ship.

I ordered about 12 or so as I thought they would be down the sides of the deck however, Harry of BFM said that they would be on the cargo hold assess points. I therefore ended up with 5 x Hudsons. I wondered if they would be covered in a burnt ocre coloured tarp but decided then to use off white. Instead of roping them down to the holds, I also decided to use netting to give a teasing glimpse.

I have no reeference to the boxes etc on the deck but like the ubiquitous and anonymous nature of these ships, I used some artistic licence.

HMS Milne is next, and much more straight forward. I shall take the photso for MSW as soon as I can get a sexy sky over the Chatham, UK.
