Awesome review Jim!
It's an extra bonus to have a tin can sailor who served on the Kidd's sister review this kit. It gives the modeler a first hand account from someone who had been there and done that.

I have this kit, along with Trumpeter's Sullivans and Panda's Churchill in the stash. I plan to do all three USS Kidds one day.

We liked to call the Kidd OUR sister ship. I guess that came about because she had problems right after being comissioned and the Scott had to take her place. The Scott and Kidd had an interesting little thing about them. The Kidd had a 1 degree list to starboard and we had 1 degree list to port. As far as I know neither the builder nor the Navy figured out way.
