At this time i am making a diorama who represent a M26 Dragon Wagon loading a LCM in Maastrich - Holland, in March of 1945.
For i make this diorama more realistic i want to know the shipment process of LCM (if they placed bars wooden in the tow for make the process better,....and other things).
Other thing i need is to know wath is the Battalion of this LCM.
If you can help me or know who can help me i would be very thankful!!
Since already i tthank you for your help.

Ahoy, mate, Welcome to Model Shipwrights!
I would Google search "Troop Operations, Maastrich - Holland, March,1945" to narrow your options down, and as far as the M26 Transporter, there's a great book available with some fantastic photos and details, entitled "DRAGON WAGON ", by Author(s): Doyle/Stansell ...this sounds like a great looking dio scene, would be very much interested in watching the progress.
Hope this helps some, my friend, maybe the boys over at Armorama may be a bit more help in this area (couldn't hurt!
)Cheers,
~Gunny

Yessirr, mate that's a good book as well, but you may want to check out some used book options (80 bucks is alot of money!)....you also may want to try the Aberdeen Bookstore for your searches...

Hey guy.
Let me check my books at home. I have a book about Andrew Higgins and I remember reading that the Army used the same wooden cradle to hall the boats that Higgins used to move the boats through the assembly line. I'll check when I get home from work.
