I would be glad to know more about the new 1/35th LCVP kit from Fonderie Miniatures...! Who built it, and what 's inside this nice boxe ?
I ' ve two old Lindberg 's, and one Monogram LCP ( R ), but they need a lot of tought job, to say the least ! First, you ' ve to remove a kind of rope circling the hull around and you need to reshape the sides with some Evergreen ' strips...The twins turrets ' re on the thick side ( a true euphemism ! ), and the guns are best to forget ! But all the job could be done with patience and a BIG scratchboxe !

I believe the FM kit is in 1/48th scale if I'm not mistaken. At least I know that would be their first 1/35th scale if it were the case.

Jack be informative

I just come from the Paris kits show ( kind of...! ), and I see the new FM kit: it ' s 1/35th, a short run injection kit, not very far away from the Lindberg one, speaking of details...At 54€/ea., it' s a little bit expensive !
It ' s a multi media kit with two resin .30 MG turrets, and two .30 MGs in metal, no figs...
My thoughts: TOO expensive....But, if you could afford it.....!
' ve a nice day !
