Hi Jordan

Although I have enlisted (could I say I am a compulsory enlister???), perhaps you should put some more info for the guys wishing to discover more about this campaign

Pacific theater flat tops(WW2)

IMHO perhaps you should also include 1:1200 scale flattops (Revell has one, and it can turn out a good model, with some extra work), but you're the boss here

Cheers,
Skipper

Ahoy Jordan,

Remember mate, this campaign is still in the proposed stage...you need at least ten members to enlist before I can approve the idea, and make it an officially sanctioned MSW campaign...it's up to you as the proposed leader to help to persuade other members to enlist, my friend...I second Rui's advice, mate, and spice things up a little with a few more details.................and remember, if your idea doesn't make it officially, you yourself can organize a non-sanctioned group build with other members here, to build and discuss your model subjects...utilize the "Blog" feature and have fun with it!

hello Jorden,
might i suggest a few things:you might want to have the campaign run longer,6 months it not a long time when other modelers are doing other ship campaigns.youmight also set a time period like Dec 7 1941-Sept 2 1945.0r you could do a Korea carriers1950-1953.also as Rui and Mark said, start posting about it.
if you have any questions, please ask.we are here to help.
cheers,
Bruce

Is this GB still being considered? I would join in if the time is later (or at least the final date), workbench full at the momment (and next few months!). I have the Dragon 1:700 USS Essex CV-9 that I would love to do, but thats a project worth a few months!

Might possibly be part of the reason for the low interest then, mate...take note ALL campaign managers here, it's the entire responsibility of you to maintain the interest, health, and welfare of your campaign, throughout its duration, or while still in the approval stage...at times it takes a good bit of poking and prodding to get things rolling, and the best way to do so is to make regular posts in the forums...and if you can't maintain your campaign once begun, I'm just an e-mail or pm away, just let me know and I'll take care of things.............
