I got the 1/700 Richelieu for Christmas. The box art is correct, but I was told that the 'painting and marking' guide included in the kit is incorrect. It certainly looks different than the box art and any other pics I have seen of the ship!
Does anyone know where to find a correct reference for the 'faded' 3-tone scheme?
I can't wait to start on this one! (after buy tons of PE for all the AA guns!)
Thanks for any help!

Hi Steve,
The correct colors are BK Dull Black, 5-O Ocean Gray, and 5-H Haze Gray. As applied, the decks were painted 20-B Deck Blue. The main turret tops were in 5-H Haze Gray until that August, when they were repainted 20-B Deck Blue.
We have all those colors accurately matched and available in our Colourcoats enamels. No minimum order on paints, and we ship worldwide.
