Interesting.... very interesting.....
A 1/144th Fletcher, shouldn't be too hard to back date it to a WW2 Fletcher. (doesn't look like it was framed or updated before turning over to the Germans.)
I wonder if a 1/72 scale one isn't too far off?

Whoa !!!!
A 1/144 th scale Fletcher ! This should be an interesting addition to quite a few members fleets. Between this and Trumpeter's Gatos, (suitably modified to a Guppy class) we're quickly starting to build up a 50's & 60's fleet.

Plus for those who also build Winged things, the same company will also be releasing a 1/144th scale C-17 at the same time. Some interesting times are a coming, Mates....Bruce

And it should be easier to backdate it to WWII configuration than the reverse - and we can keep the "modern stuff" for other earlier cold war ships, although the scale is still a one-off for major ship models, apart from Subs
