Hi everyone,

I mostly post over on the Armorama side of the house, but I'm looking for help in finding either turned (or cast) brass or preferably turned aluminium stanchions that can be used to make multi-part grab rails in 1/35 to 1/24 scale.

A friend of mine on another site picked some up at a flea market so he doesn't know who the manufacturer is but he says that the ones he has are a chrome plated brass with a threaded base.

Also, what is the smallest chain available link per inch wise? I'm trying to find something around 40 LPI or greater (if available) for a few projects I'm working on.

Any help in where I can find these would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your time

Jeff

Hi Jeff, welcome to Model Shipwrights, mate!

For larger scale boat fittings, I usually start with Bluejacket Shipcrafters...give it a go!

Happy Hunting!

Thanks.

I looked through their site, and I think I may have found what I'm looking for.
