Hi all,
Im new to this boat thing, normally I deal in armor and rotorary wing. I was reading D-Day by Stephen Ambrose and in it he talks about the Uss Frankford and other destroyers providing close support to the beach. I was wondering if any companies make the Gleaves Class Destroyer or something comprable. Any help would be great.
Regards,
Dan

I just did a quick goggle on this and I found a couple of companies that make the kit. There was an auction on E-bay but it already ended. Hope this helps.

There will be something close available from Dragon in a bit... but it's not out yet.

In 1/700, the Kobo Hiryu kit is resin, and very hard to find, if it is still in production, However, Skywave makes the Monssen in regular injection molded plastic. It should be available from most of the online vendors. It makes a nice little kit.
