...or just in acrylic? I have only been able to find Haze Gray, Deck Blue, etc. in Model Master Acrylics. Does anyone else make these colors?
I ask because I am currently building a 1/700 DD "The Sullivans" and have been having major problems with getting the Acrylic paint to go on smoothly. (I tried to lighten up some 'Deck Blue' by adding some 'Haze Gray' - both model Master Acrylics) and it all went to hell and chuncked up on me as soon as they were mixed.
Thanks!

White Ensign makes a line of colors as well. Great Models had a decent list of then in stock. I haven't used them yet, but I have seen they are nice. They have specific lines for US WWII ships as well as other countries. Plus they have modern colors as well.

White Ensign Models' Colour Coats would be the way to go.
You can get them from shipcamouflage.com here in the states.

I wonder if you got a bad batch or something. I used those exact paints for my 1/350 Missouri, and absolutely loved them. Were you also using the Model Master Acrylic thinner as well? Sometimes paint gets a bit too thick and using the thinner really helps.

White Ensign Colourcoats can be ordered direct. I just received an order that was placed less than a week ago. They now accept Visa and Mastercard.

Thanks guys!
I'll get they Acrylic thinner (I didn't even know that existed!) for the US colors.
And hopefully try out some German stuff through White Ensign...I need to get some more PE from them anyhow.
Thanks again!

Steve, the acrylic thinner is often VEEEERY expensive for a small qty, a trick is to also use Isopropyl Alcohol/Methylated Spirits. Does the same job as that is the base ingredient, tho I think the "thinner" also has a tiny bit of something else added, but I didn't have any problems with alcohol.
My wife uses acrylic and uses it well. I prefer the "bite" of enamel, but it's a personal thing
